Accessibility

The Alnwick Garden was designed to be as accessible as possible, from the earliest plans the duchess has been clear that the Alnwick Garden is for everyone.

Through The Alnwick Garden Trust’s charitable programmes we encourage our community into The Garden, providing year round activities to address many of the issues faced by those living with additional needs or growing old in a rural area. Accessibility is at our heart, we have smooth solid surfaces, wheelchair accessible routes and award winning toilets. Below is a list of ways in which The Alnwick Garden can support your visit, for additional information please speak to a member of our team by calling 01665 511350 and choosing option 1.

Visitors with a disability are entitled to concession prices and free access for a carer if needed.

Childrens’ activities

We  welcome children of all abilities to join in with craft activities, and necessary help or modification will be provided to ensure they are fully included.
